Appraisal – Ian gave an honest appraisal on price and market conditions. We interviewed a number of agents who desperately tried to outbid each other on price and who all assured us they could sell our house very quickly. A very quick look online soon established they offered high starting prices which quickly came down as the long weeks and months of non selling extended.
There are a lot of slick young agents around who do not produce the sale.
Photographs – we were amazed at the poor quality of photography, and have even seen photos showing a pile of dirty underwear.
Ryan takes his photography seriously and produced a stunning and honest set of photos.
Involvement – Ian made helpful suggestions on how we may better present our house, and we reciprocated by making the house ‘always available & always looking at its best’. We all worked as a team to achieve the sale.
The Offer – Ian worked hard to present us with a very good opening offer, and managed to increase to one acceptable. We came very close to achieving our full asking price.
The follow-up – In our opinion the ‘post-offer/pre-contract is the most critical period. This is where we believe Ian excelled. He carefully nurtured our buyers through this period and between us we provided the purchasers with quick and accurate information.
